  • Mackay Harbour & Marina - One of the finest man-made harbours on the East Coast, Mackay Harbour is home to the largest bulk sugar terminal in the world. Featuring cafes, restaurants and a boardwalk, Mackay Harbour is also the departure point for a number of reef and island cruises.

  • Farleigh Sugar Mill - Visitors can enjoy a tour of the operations of a working sugar mill in the cane crushing season (July to November).

  • Eungella National Park - Spreading over 50,000 hectares, Eungella is Queensland’s largest and most spectacular rainforest national park. It features an abundance of waterfalls and crystal clear streams as well as a variety of flora and fauna including the native platypus.

  • Botanic Gardens - Beautifully landscaped gardens featuring an orchid house and recreational area has relocated to a beautiful new location that includes a coffee shop and cafe with a view.

  • Andy’s Railroad - Take a tour on the miniature train which operates every 2nd and fourth Sunday of the month.

  • Greenmount Homestead - Established in the early 1990’s, this historical homestead houses original possessions of the Pioneer Cook family. The property also features historical sheds, farm machinery and the Walkerston Railway Station.
